Norayr Kartashyan is a professional musician with expereince in playing on the blul (flute) and number of other Armenian musical instuments (such as duduk, shvi, ud). He is also the co-founder of ''Katuner'' music band in 2006 and the founder of ''Norayr Kartashyan & Van Project'' music group in 2010, as well as is the founder of ''Menua'' folk group in 2015.
Norayr Kartashyan has pariticipated in numerous International festivals and concerts with the ''Armenian Navy Band''. He lives an active professianal life with many solo concerts and performs as a guest musician almost in all Armenian jazz and pop groups.
