The famed jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan with special guest Mathias Eick (trumpet) from Norway. It was amazing to hear foreign artist playing Armenian folk music with Tigran Hamasyan.
In the beginning of the concert Tigran created very distinctive atmosphere in the concert hall immediately applying the audience in two words: “Well, let’s start"…
Tigran Hamasyan had solo performances in the first part of the concert.
The second part of the concert Tigran played with trumpeter Mathias Eick, Norayr Kartashyan and Miqayel Voskanyan.
Hamasyan’s melodies and Norwegian trumpet sounds just "enchanted" the audience. In the first encore Tigran returned to the stage with all musicians. They played together Komitas. Applauds made Tigran appear on stage again and played the ”Lilac” in second encore at the end of the concert.
